1Why should I attend the CLIA European Summit?
More than a conference, CLIA will host a line-up of discussions and debates focused on the outlook for cruise across the Mediterranean and wider European region. Participants will have an exceptional opportunity to interact with the full spectrum of cruise industry leadership as well as public officials to discuss the current and future regulatory issues facing the industry and how we can work together to shape the future of cruising in Europe.
2Who will attend the Summit?
The inaugural CLIA European Summit will bring together cruise line leaders and decision-makers, representatives from ports and destinations, ship development, suppliers, and business services, as well as Government representatives, and local officials and stakeholders.
3Do I need to register for the event?
Yes, all attendees must register. Click the 'Register Now' button and locate your attendee type, then on the next page select the number of complimentary tickets and the number of additional tickets and Add to Cart. When ready, click on the Cart to complete your registration. Please note that space is limited, so we recommend that you register as soon as possible but no later than Tuesday, 7 June
4What does each registration type include for the CLIA European Summit?
CLIA Cruise Line Members and Executive Partners receive access to all activities June 14-16, with the exception of the CLIA VIP Dinner (14 June) and Fincantieri/Wartsila tour (16 June), which is by invitation only. Cruise Line Member - Complimentary Diamond Elite Executive Partner - 3 complimentary tickets per company, additional tickets can be purchased for €349 (exclusive of Italian VAT) - Diamond Executive Partner - 2 complimentary tickets per company, additional tickets can be purchased for €349 (exclusive of Italian VAT) - Gold Executive Partner - 1 complimentary ticket per company, additional tickets can be purchased for €349 (exclusive of Italian VAT)
5I am not a CLIA Member or Executive Partner, am I still able to attend the CLIA European Summit?
Yes, you are still able to register to attend as follows: CLIA Guest: 14-15 June - €799 – Includes Welcome Reception (or CLIA VIP Dinner By Invitation Only), Plenary Sessions, Networking Lunch, and Closing Night Celebration Non-Partner: 16 June - €349 – Includes Closing Night Celebration, Hotel Operations, Food & Beverage Business Session and Networking Lunch Please note, on 16 June, non-members/non-partners are not eligible to attend Business Sessions for the Port, Destination & Travel and Maritime & Technical Services communities.
6Can media attend the Summit?

7What are the Covid-19 protocols at the Summit?
While CLIA strives to adhere to the advice of local, national, and international health authorities, any interaction with the public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event. We encourage you to practice the best personal mitigation strategies that are available, like getting vaccinated, wearing masks while indoors with others, and washing your hands often. If you need more direction, please consult your national and local health authority websites for up-to-date recommendations. Our own member cruise line websites also provide a great source for rigorous, layered protective measures. Please note that a mask mandate remains in place at both conference venues (Palazzo Ducale and Magazzini del Cotone) and must be worn at all times except when eating and drinking. Masks must be of FFP2 (respirator) standard, and spare masks will be available onsite if needed.

9What types of payments are accepted?
All major credit cards are accepted in the payment section of the registration process. Payment by wire transfer is also available.
10What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your registration for a refund of any purchased tickets up to 7 days prior to the event, on 7 June.
11What is the dress code at the events?
The recommended attire is as follows: Tuesday 14 June - Evening: Business Formal Wednesday 15 June Day - Daytime: Business - Closing Night Celebration: Business Casual Thursday 16 June - Daytime: Business Casual
